Bad gear

Jeremy Clarkson writes: "When buying an expensive new car, accept, like a man, that it will plummet in value in the manner of a fat man plummeting from the top of a tower block."
Well that's just a gratuitous and ill-informed attack on overweight people. I believe Galileo proved that a fat man and a skinny man (or, at least, cannon balls of different sizes and weights) will plummet at the same rate.
