Cable guy

After struggling with the cables to charge my iPod and my two mobile phones (don't ask), and viewing the mess of leads and adaptors on my desktop, it occurred to me how much easier life would be if computer and electronics cables and jacks were standardised. Then it occurred to me that this would be an environmentally friendly idea, too. Over to you, Australian Environment Minister Garrett and your international counterparts, for some truly groundbreaking legislation.
