A Melbourne council candidate is suggesting that actors play drunk to catch-out publicans who illegally serve alcohol to intoxicated patrons. One flaw: surely it's not illegal to serve someone who is just pretending to be drunk. The perfect defence: "I saw through the lousy performance, your honour."
