For whom the Pell tolls

Cardinal George Pell is telling Australians and other Westerners to have more babies. He says: "There is a crisis in the Western world. No Western country is producing enough babies to keep the population stable, no Western country." Leaving aside the racist inferences here, doesn't this ring a little hollow coming from a celibate man? The Catholic clergy should lead by example.
