Rick rolls back

Rick rolls back

Update: A little bird tells me (as my father used to say when he wasn't seeing a man about a dog) that Rick Burnett will be using the Nine news appearance to announce that he's taken up a new job which may have some synergies with his new "hippy" look (as shown in this picture I took of him a few weeks ago). It won't be at Channel 9, or any other TV station. (Saturday, March 13, 10.40am AEST)
Update 2: As revealed on Nine, that job is CEO of Keep Australia Beautiful. (Saturday, March 13, 6.27pm AEST)

Channel Nine Brisbane teaser ad, featuring former Extra host Rick Burnett, as posted on YouTube by regular debritz.net commenter Kuttsywood on March 12.

What's it all about?

Some more background,

Some more background, Brett:

This aired all through last night's football feast, promoting tonight's (i.e Saturday night's) 6pm bulletin.

Saturday nights have been weaker for QTQ since Extra axing.

I wonder if Nine is using the Clem7 special lead-in (Brisbane viewers wanting to know more about the tunnel etc.) and are expecting a swelled audience.

Thanks again Kuttsy.
Thanks again Kuttsy. Interesting that they used the full news team graphic at the end not just Heather Foord.

Thanks for the update. I

Thanks for the update.

I reckon Lee's got more to cheer about... and Seven should be worried. If Nine were to say, win a week (Mon-Fri of course, minimum being 3 nights to Nine/2 to Seven), would Seven jump up and down? Or has the Deal issue bit their confidence?
